Cunningham Facilitates UALE Workshop
On Tuesday, May 25th, Zach Cunningham – Education and Training Extension Associate with the Worker Institute’s Labor Leading on Climate Initiative – co-facilitated a workshop titled “Popular Education in a Virtual World” at the United Association for Labor Education’s virtual conference.
Nearly 80 people from around the world attended the session, which covered popular education theory and gave participants a chance to share best practices for participatory online education. Cunningham’s co-facilitators were Darby Frye (Washington Federation of State Employees, AFSCME Council 28), Richard Gaboton (The Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada), and Sarah Hughes (Labor Notes).
