Overview
The world of work has undergone a significant transformation in recent years due to advances in artificial intelligence and other technologies, a reconceptualization of work and the workplace, and a shift in worker expectations, among other factors. It is not surprising, then, that the most recent installment of CAHRS' annual CHRO Top-of-Mind survey identified transformation as the #1 HR priority for 2025. Importantly, HR leaders today are focused not only on transforming their functions but also on driving broader organizational and business model transformations.
The purpose of this CAHRS partner meeting is to examine how HR needs to continue evolving to lead this broad, sweeping transformation and tackle both today's and tomorrow's most pressing challenges. As part of the program, both Cornell faculty and CAHRS partner organizations will share the latest insights and best practices on a host of timely topics ranging from how to manage the transformative impact of GenAI, to navigating the evolving expectations of workers to create a compelling employee value proposition, to refreshing talent management tools, technologies, and practices to ensure critical roles are filled and leadership excellence is sustained. The program will be highly interactive, allowing ample time for attendees to share their insights, ask questions, and network with the speakers and other attendees.
Who Should Attend?
Typical attendees of the CAHRS Fall Partner meetings range from CHRO to mid-career HR professionals. Given the theme of this year's meeting, mid- to senior-level business partners and specialists looking to engage in personal development and bring new ideas back to their organization are an ideal fit. Partner companies are invited to send 1-5 participants to the program (sending more is possible, depending on available seating), as this is an excellent opportunity to bring a small team together to learn, discuss implications, and explore how to apply the learnings to your company.
