CAHRS Virtual Working Group | The Impact of AI on Learning & Development
When & Where
Date & Time
Overview
Artificial intelligence is having a significant impact on the learning and development function, both in terms of how learning programs are designed and delivered but also in the need for the function to support AI literacy and organizational transformation. The goal of this CAHRS virtual working group, which will be led by CAHRS Professor Brad Bell, is to review the impact of AI on learning and development and discuss what is coming next. We will talk about how different parts of the learning design process are being reshaped by AI and discuss how AI can be used to enhance the timeliness, scalability, and effectiveness of learning solutions. In addition, we will examine how the mandate of learning and development functions has been evolving in response to the need to upskill employees and support organizational transformation in the wake of AI adoption.
The target audience for this working group is individuals who have responsibility for designing or delivering learning and development solutions in their organization.
Given that we limit the number of registrations to our working groups to allow for rich discussion and best practice sharing, we ask that you only register for a session if you will be able to attend for the duration. Prior to the session, attendees should give some thought to topic that will be discussed and come prepared to engage actively in the discussion. We also strongly prefer that participants be on camera during the session to allow for more engaging interaction. We understand that sometimes things come up which we do not anticipate. If for some reason after you sign up for the working group and cannot attend, we would appreciate an email – even right up until the last minute, as these popular events often have waiting lists.
