CAHRSCast | CAHRS World-Class HRBP Framework: Foundational Capabilities
When & Where
Date & Time
Overview
HR business partners (HRBPs), a large and critically important segment of the HR population, serve on the front lines of helping companies navigate the future of work, yet often lack development resources and peer communities that are common in specialized HR areas. To address this gap, Cornell's Center for Advanced Human Resource Studies (CAHRS) has collaborated with senior HRBPs, chief HR officers, and business leaders across partner companies to develop the World-Class HRBP Framework, defining key elements of the role and setting standards for excellence. CAHRS plans to use the framework as a launchpad to develop additional tools and resources to support HRBP excellence during a time of unprecedented change and disruption.
In this webcast, the second of a five-part series, CAHRS Professor Chris Collins, CAHRS Executive Fellow Kevin Cox, and CAHRS Professor Brad Bell will discuss the foundational elements that enable HRBPs to drive business results. They will examine how HRBPs can understand and influence business strategy while anticipating and incorporating external trends. The discussion will also explore effective partnerships with Centers of Excellence (CoEs) and Shared Service Centers for optimal HR delivery. Attendees will have an opportunity to share their insights and ask questions during the webcast.
