Overview

The Cornell ILR's Climate Jobs Institute invites you to a special evening at the Asia Society and Museum on Wednesday, June 12, from 6pm - 8pm.

The Asia Society has generously offered to open its doors after hours for our guests to experience the immersive photography and video exhibition COAL + ICE. This exhibition visualizes the causes and consequences of the climate crisis and foregrounds creative solutions. The event will be an occasion for the Climate Jobs Institute to share the vital work that we and our partners are doing in New York and around the country to advance an equitable clean energy economy. Light food and refreshments will be provided.

The Climate Jobs Institute is guiding New York and the nation’s transition to a strong, equitable, and resilient clean energy economy that tackles the climate crisis; creates high-quality jobs; confronts race and gender inequality; and builds a skilled, diverse, and inclusive workforce. We help policymakers and labor, industry, and environmental leaders navigate this historic transition through cutting-edge applied research, deep relationships with on-the-ground partners, and innovative training and education programs.
