Labor Leading on Climate selected as Educational Partner for Climate Jobs National Resource Center
Building on the Worker Institute’s successful Labor Leading on Climate Initiative in New York State, the Institute has been contracted as the educational partner to the newly launched Climate Jobs National Resource Center. The Worker Institute will provide research, education and training support to unions on climate change and clean energy in multiple U.S. states, beginning with Maine, Connecticut, Illinois and Texas.
As in New York, this work will help unions proactively and positively engage in climate change and clean energy work and forge a stronger link in the public discourse between the crises of inequality and climate change.
