Blau meets with President Obama on workplace issues
Francine Blau, Frances Perkins Professor of Industrial and Labor Relations and Professor of Economics at Cornell University’s ILR School and ICS Research Fellow met with President Obama on Friday, March 20, 2015 to discuss income inequality and the future of work along with wages and job quality.
Professor Blau is the 2010 recipient of the IZA prize in labor economics and has written extensively on gender issues, wage inequality, immigration, and international comparisons of labor market outcomes. She is the author of many scholarly works including Gender, Inequality, and Wages, and The Economics of Women, Men, and Work (7th edition).
