ICS joins "Women and the Law" virtual conference to discuss pay equity

Linda Barrington, ICS Executive Director, discussed the gender pay gap on the webinar panel “Gender and Pay: Emerging Laws and Litigation Addressing Pay Equity” on September 25, 2020. She joined attorneys Jill Rosenberg, Kelly M. Dermody and moderator Michele Coleman Mayes, General Counsel & Secretary at The New York Public Library. The panel was part of a day-long virtual conference, titled Women and the Law and drawn from the planned but COVID-19-cancelled Second Circuit Judicial Conference. With the passing of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg (‘54) the week before, the webcast event served as another tribute to Ginsburg’s lasting legacy on the legal rights of women. Justice Ginsburg had spoken regularly at the annual Second Circuit Judicial Conference. The archived program can be found here.
