Paying for performance may increase need for transparency

While at least 40 states across the U.S. require state employees' salaries be publicly listed, complete pay openness is not common in the private sector. Linda Barrington, Institute for Compensation Studies Executive Director, appeared on Real Money with Ali Velshi to discuss what pay transparency, pay-for-performance and pay openness mean for the workplace.
