LDI graduate researcher Sylverie Herbert will be spending the summer at the European Central Bank for a Summer Graduate Research Programme (research fellowship). She will stay 3 months in the Directorate General Research, division monetary policy to work on her own research and interact with the economists there as well as in other business areas. The goal of the programme is for young researchers to participate in the daily work of the directorate by presenting their work that is of direct relevance for the ECB and receive feedback on their work. To do so, the programme is designed such that graduate students present their work at the beginning and at the end of the stay and they will be under the direct supervision of a senior economist of the Directorate.
