Overview

Artificial intelligence (AI) use has rapidly expanded over the last several years, marking significant changes in work and employment. As these changes take place, workers and their unions harness worker voices to influence AI's role and impact in the workplace. Last September, labor unions and academics came together at an international conference co-sponsored by the CWA, AFL-CIO Technology Institute, UNI Global Union and Cornell ILR CAROW to discuss the impact of AI on work and workers. In this webinar, conference organizers and participants will reflect on these technologies' impact and labor union responses through collective bargaining, worker organizing, and policy coalitions.
