How do we know the health of our economy? Federal employment data aggregates across our economy to pinpoint what sectors are seeing a rise in unemployment, or which industries face understaffing. This information is pivotal to understanding macro level movements in our economy - how individual actors contribute to large scale shifts - allowing individuals, businesses, markets, and policymakers to plan and respond. Yet this data requires infrastructure that must be maintained over time  to collect and validate. Join CAROW for a webinar that will cover the importance of federal employment data, its impact on the economy, how it is collected, what happens when it is undermined or unavailable, and how we can strengthen the reliability of the data and support its access.
