British Parliamentary Team Finds Success at Yale Invitational

The Cornell British Parliamentary Debate Team traveled to the Yale Inter-Varsity Tournament in New Haven, Connecticut from October 28-30th. 

Senior Meg Kandarpa and Junior Eli Pallrand reached Open Finals. Ram Orfanel finished 8th ESL speaker. 

Two Cornell representatives broke as judges, being selected for their quality adjudication and attention to detail. BP Spanish Team Coach Júlia García Güell judged open quarter finals and chaired novice finals. Junior Ben Shaw, in his first time as a judge at a tournament, judged Novice semi finals. 

The BP Team is preparing to travel to U.S. University Debating Championships and a tournament in the United Kingdom in the coming weeks.
