Cornell British Parliament Team Conquers the North at Hart House IV!
Cornell's BP Team showcases their skills at competitive Canadian tournament
From October 17th to 19th, Cornell’s British Parliamentary Team traveled to and competed in the Hart House IV Tournament at the University of Toronto, Canada. During their international trip, two teams comprised of Dora Shunshun Chen & Dennis Lu and Eamin Ahmed & Soren Jensen, successfully advanced into elimination rounds. From this, Dora Shunshun Chen & Dennis Lu fought their way into the Novice Division Grand Final. For individual recognition, Chris Cai secured the 3rd Best Speaker title in the Novice category at the tournament.
After these successes, the BP team is back at Cornell, working hard for their end of semester tournaments. On top of their normal tournament schedule, Dora Shunshun Chen & Dennis Lu have both been selected to participate in the World University Debating Championships 2026 in Sofia, Bulgaria.
