Policy Team Competes in First Tournament of Season

The Cornell Policy Debate Team competed in the University of Rochester Debate Tournament September 4-25 2022. In the Open division and at their first college tournament, Adam Alnasser and Jenna Lea had a 4-1 prelim record and made it to semifinals. Adam received a second place speaker award and Jenna received a 4th place speaker award. Thanks also to our other jv/varsity debaters for helping everyone get ready with practice debates, including right up to the time where we left to go to the tournament!
