Policy Team shines at Binghamton
During this season's district opener, policy debate makes a strong first impression!
The Cornell Policy Debate Team attended the Phyllis Schatz Debate Invitational at Binghamton last weekend. In the Open division, Matthew Dye and April Vorontsova finished as Varsity quarterfinalists. Additionally, both debaters won Varsity speaker awards, with Matthew taking 10th place and April taking 11th place.
In the JV division, Alana Trevino and Sean Marcy competed in the open division, securing several wins at Alana’s first tournament ever! Overall, Cornell Policy Debate made a strong showing at the district opener and is hard at work, preparing for their upcoming United States Military Academy tournament!
