Speech Team dominates in Virginia
At James Mason University, the Cornell Speech team finished their season opener strong.
On October 5th and 6th, the Cornell Speech team traveled for the annual VAFL tournament at James Madison University in Virginia. At this tournament, the speech team encountered intense competition from schools across the district. Despite this, Cornell took home third place overall on the first day and second place on the second day.
Overall, Cornell Speech finished the weekend strong and made an exciting start to their competition season. As the team heads back to Ithaca, they are very excited to follow up this winning performance with even more.
