Overview

Join YTI and The Arc Madison Cortland for a collaborative, two-part, in-person training focusing on how Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) prepare students with disabilities for life after high school.

Designed for vendors and educators, this training will provide the knowledge needed to understand how students with disabilities can benefit from pre-ETS when services are delivered through strong and effective collaboration.

In Part One, participants will:

  • Gain an understanding of the five core pre-employment transition services and the specific activities associated with each.
  • Learn who is eligible for Pre-ETS and what it means to be potentially eligible.
  • Receive a clear overview of the program itself.

The session will also explore strategies for fostering collaboration among schools, families, and community partners to maximize impact, with networking and collaborative activities woven throughout.

Part Two will be held in early spring – the date and location are forthcoming.
