Spring 2026 applications are open and due 11:59PM ET on Friday, January 2nd, 2026.

The High Road Ithaca Program offers ILR students paid community engaged internships with partner organizations committed to social and environmental justice, access and education in Ithaca and surrounding areas during the fall or spring semesters. Click on applications on cards below.

The ILR High Road New York (Ithaca & New York City) initiative is an expansion of the ILR School’s long-standing High Road Buffalo Fellowship Program. The program aims to immerse ILR students in meaningful community engaged experiences and exposure to engaged leadership. Learn more about High Road on our About High Road page.

Students work 5-10 hours a week and participate in critical reflection activities throughout the semester. Students may apply for more than one opportunity.

Spring High Road Ithaca fellowships are not available to seniors. Priority will be given to students who have not participated in other High Road Programs (Buffalo/NYC).

Make an impact as an ILRie in your home away from home and apply to be a High Road Fellow!

Applications open in October for Spring fellowships and June for Fall fellowships.
