ILR Campus on 34th Street Opens Up
Research Wraps & Synthesis Begins - Snow, the enemy of Open Houses, returned with a soggy vengeance—but it was no match for the dedicated faculty and staff who work at ILR’s 34th Street campus. They took time out of their day to share what they’re most proud of: namely, ILR’s people, real-world impact, and “multi-disciplinary expertise.” Going forward, they’d like to see “more integration between research institutes, and between resident and extension faculty.”
With that, the primary research push had come to an end. All told, the IDEO team spoke with more than 150 members of the ILR community. The next day’s task? To begin to make sense of it all. The team tiled the walls with student letters, transcribed hundreds of quotes onto Post-its, and started clustering them into themes.
