ILRs 2019 Honor Roll Call
The ILR community recently paid tribute to fellow staff and faculty for their dedicated years of service, and highlighted a few individuals who steadily go above and beyond the norm.
Tamara Ingram, assistant director of ILR International programs, and Marcia Harding Zeller, associate director of ILR Career Services, received the employee recognition award for their excellence.
The team who worked over the holiday and generously devoted their skills and time to open the 570 Lexington Avenue new office space in New York City were commended. This stellar team worked miracles to open the facility on deadline. Hats off to Victor Diaz, DH Goodall, Allison Zdunczyk , John Barry, Cheryl Benk, Laura Robinson, David Lippincott, Edward Martinez, Jeff Bishop, Mike “Chief” Haflett, Mike Colunio, Laura Haley and Melissa Manning.
The MacIntyre Award for Exemplary Teaching was awarded to Robert Hutchens (pictured below), professor of economics and editorial board of the ILR Review, and also Risa Lieberwitz, professor of labor and employment law.
The Robert N. Stern Award for Teaching and Mentoring was given to Kate Griffith, associate professor of labor and employment law.
Distinguished service plaques were presented and a few humorous videos for staff of 25 to 35 years of service brought the audience to laughter.
