Social Impact Career Forum

At the First Annual Social Impact Career Forum on Friday, students will meet with alumni and other professionals working in diverse non-corporate organizations.

“The Office of Career Services is thrilled to host alumni and representatives hailing from government, NGOs, law, policy, labor, think tanks, international rights organizations, non-profits, and social justice and advocacy organizations,” said ILR Office of Career Services Director Regina Duffey Moravek.

“We’re asking our alumni and guests to provide information about obtaining internships and full-time jobs with their organizations, as well as general career advice.”

“We’re excited that our students will have the opportunity to network and hear personal stories about career choices, career “pathing” and career fulfillment,” she said.

“Holding this event is part of a multi-pronged strategy to be sure that our students learn of the various ways to pursue jobs and careers in these sectors.”

Open to ILR undergraduate and MILR students, the forum will be held from 9:15 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Friday in the ILR Conference Center, King-Shaw Hall. For more information, email sicareerforum@cornell.edu.
