Worker Institute Faculty Take Part in LERA Conference

ILR faculty, alums, students presenting on international, domestic issues

Twenty-two professors, Extension faculty, doctoral program graduates and current students representing the ILR School and the School’s Scheinman Institute, Healthcare Transformation Project and Worker Institute at Cornell are speaking at the Labor and Employment Relations Association annual meeting Thursday through June 1 in Portland, Ore.

ILR presentations at 18 panels explore pressing, complex issues facing workers in labor movements in the United States and abroad. Workshop topics include low-wage workers, health care, engaging a young and diverse workforce, strikes in China, the governance of global supply chains and access to justice.
