Sarah von Schrader

Sarah joined the Yang-Tan Institute on Employment and Disability, ILR School at Cornell University as a Research Associate in June 2009 and now serves as the Director of Research and Program Evaluation at the Yang-Tan Institute (YTI).
Sarah’s research focuses on employer practices that support disability inclusion, with recent projects on federal and federal contractor workplaces, disability disclosure, workplace flexibility, and reasonable accommodation. She has been the principal investigator (PI) or Co-PI of projects funded by the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research (NIDILRR), U.S. Department of Labor, New York State Education Department, and Sloan Foundation.
Sarah received her doctorate in Education Measurement and Statistics from the University of Iowa in 2006 and bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Colorado College in 1994. Prior to coming to YTI, Sarah worked in the fields of health policy and management, educational testing, and evaluation.
