ILR School Holds DEI Symposium

ILR School graduate students attended a symposium on diversity, equity and inclusion this semester.
Sponsored by the Center for Applied Research on Work, the ILR Graduate Student Association led the planning of the event, with the backing of the school's staff, faculty, and leadership. The event was held Feb. 16 at the Cornell Law School
Experts from the Scheinman Institute delivered workshops on unconscious bias and facilitated DEI practitioner case studies in both unionized and non-union settings.
The symposium also featured Cyrus Mehri, Law ’88, a civil rights lawyer. As the keynote speaker, he shared his experiences in the field.
