December 2025 Highlights

Tools You Can Use and More: 2025 Year in Review

As 2025 winds down, Wendy Strobel Gower, executive director of the Yang-Tan Institute (YTI), has been reflecting on recent work at the institute. “A recent and recurring theme for YTI,” she said, “is tools you can use to make a difference in the work lives of people with disabilities.” These tools are based on research and expertise from YTI. Topics include disability in the workplace and business, autism and transition from school to work, disability-related statistics, and disability-related government benefits and work incentives. In 2025, YTI also published research, embarked on new projects and collaborations, provided professional development, and supported New York state’s Employment First goals.

Season’s Greetings from YTI

As the year comes to a close, we want to express sincere gratitude to all our partners and friends. While this year has brought many challenges, we have remained steadfast in our mission to advance a world where people with disabilities are fully included in the workplace and community.

We wish you a joyful and peaceful holiday season, and we look forward to continuing our work in 2026!
