New York State Assembly member Alex Bores ‘13 represents the 73rd District in the New York State Assembly. The legislative and district office for New York State Assembly member Alex Bores serves the East Side of Manhattan. He is an ILRie and a fifth-generation New Yorker who was born and raised in-and-around the district.
Alex Herazy ‘25, Bryanne Sarfo ’26, Claire Ting ‘25 interned for Assembly Member Alex Bores in the summer of 2023. High Road NYC at the Office of State Assembly member Alex Bores were immersed in policy research and drafting, constituent relations, media and communications, and community activism and events such as union rallies, New York Historical Society panel discussions and disability rights advocacy symposiums.
When the Canadian fires clouded NYC in smoke and haze in the summer of 2023, Assembly member Bores’ District Director, Constituent Outreach Director, and Alex Herazy ’25 set-up a table outside the 86th Street train station and handed out N95 masks.

Caitlin Fox ’27 and Isaac Haile ‘27 primarily worked with the legislative team to produce legislative bill drafts and participated in various community events such as NYC Pride and Vanderbilt Y Street Fair.
