Reed Eaglesham

Reed Eaglesham is a PhD candidate in Human Resource Studies in the ILR School at Cornell University. He completed his Bachelor's degree at the University of British Columbia, and worked as a technical recruiter for a short time before starting his PhD. Reed's research examines how HR policies and firm strategic decisions shape inequality. His dissertation focuses on how firms shape inequality within the immigration system, examining the mechanisms behind the stratification of wages and immigration outcomes by gender as well as differences in temporary and permanent visa sponsorship decisions.
