Lexi Scanlon
Scanlon is a Senior Research Support Specialist at the Cornell ILR Climate Jobs Institute.
They are focused on developing policy and research that supports the creation of green union jobs through a climatological and sociological lens. They have experience farming in the central valley of California, co-creating coastal resiliency plans with EJ communities across NYC, repairing garments for Patagonia, and analyzing climate finance data to support nature-based solutions.
Lexi received their M.A. in Climate and Society from the Columbia Climate School and has a B.A. in Political Science, B.A. in Sociology, and a minor in Sustainability from Pepperdine University. They also spend time working with and teaching at Interference Archive, an anarchist archive in Brooklyn focused on social movements and protest materials.
