Joe Canovas

Joe Canovas lobbies on behalf of the AFL-CIO affiliates across the state, protecting the state’s Scaffold Law and workers’ compensation benefits from construction industry attacks. He works to find common ground when it comes to workplace safety and health issues. Previously, he worked at 32BJ SEIU. Canovas graduated from St. John’s University and St. John's University of Law.
