Andy Hume

Andy Hume has over three decades of experience in speech and debate, and over fifteen years as a professional debate coach. As a law student at the University of Glasgow in the UK, Andy won the World Universities Debating Championship (WUDC); as a judge, organizer and coach, he has been involved in competitions in more than 20 countries around the world and his students have won multiple national, regional and world championships. Andy was Chief Adjudicator at WUDC in 2001 and Coach of Team Korea at four WSDC championships between 2015 and 2018. He now coaches debate in Shanghai, China.
