Jake McIntyre

Assistant to President, International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers (BAC)

Jake McIntyre has served the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers (BAC) as Assistant to the President for Planning & Policy since Fall 2021. In that capacity, Jake is responsible for coordinating the activities of BAC headquarters departments and international union field staff to ensure that the union's strategic objectives are being addressed. Additionally, he is principally responsible for planning, programming, and execution of all BAC conventions, conferences, and meetings. During his 18 years with BAC prior to his appointment as Assistant to the President, Jake served the union in several capacities, including as Assistant to the Secretary-Treasurer, Director of National Agreements, and National Refractory Director.

A native of Buffalo, Jake is a graduate of the Cornell University School of Industrial and Labor Relations and the University of Hawai'i Law School. He resides in the District of Columbia with his wife and son.
