Natalia Navas, Ph.D., ’09, is a practitioner-scholar, labor educator, and qualitative sociologist specializing in the intersection of labor rights, legality and legal status, and political autonomy within immigrant communities in the United States. Natalia has over 10 years of experience in the immigrant rights movement in New York and nationally. She has significant experience developing and delivering popular education curricula for immigrant workers and extensive teaching in higher education. She has a B.S. in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University, an M.A. in International Relations Studies from The CUNY Graduate Center, an M.A. and a Ph.D. in Sociology from Stony Brook University.
