Alejandra Rodriguez
Rodriguez Diaz is a Research Support Specialist at the Cornell ILR Climate Jobs Institute.
Alejandra’s work supports the research team's endeavors, contributing to information collection, and providing writing, editing, and analytical support.
Before joining CJI, Alejandra worked on several conservation and sustainability projects. As a Consultant for The Nature Conservancy, she performed socio-environmental due diligence on Latin American hydroelectric projects for the Blue Energy Mechanism initiative. She also served as a liaison between units to consolidate information and support execution. At the Alexander von Humboldt Biological Resources Research Institute in Colombia, Alejandra analyzed extractive industry impacts. During her AmeriCorps service with the Minneapolis Health Department, she expanded access to urban forestry programs.
She holds a master’s in Environmental Management and a Bachelor’s in Biology from Universidad de los Andes in Colombia. Alejandra also obtained a Master’s degree in Molecular Biotechnology from the Universitat de Barcelona in Spain.
