Sam has years of experience working in energy policy at multiple levels of government, NGOs, activist organizations, and educational institutions. He worked with government officials at state and local levels, business leaders, and other stakeholders to develop policy solutions to decarbonize and boost resilience to climate hazards. He most recently worked as a Climate and Energy Policy Researcher for the Renewable Energy Legal Defense Initiative at Columbia Law School, Sabin Center for Climate Change Law.
