Gerald Cotiangco
Cotiangco is a Program Coordinator at the Cornell ILR Climate Jobs Institute.
Cotiangco supports the Research and Policy Development and Training and Education teams and develops communications and student engagement initiatives for the CJI.
Gerald previously worked at Columbia University for eight years, building professional networks and academic-industry partnerships, first for Columbia Engineering and then Columbia Climate School, where they were the climate jobs director. In this role, Gerald also provided individualized coaching and school-wide programming for students and alumni to help them discover, create, and navigate job opportunities that addressed the climate crisis.
While at Columbia, Gerald obtained a master’s degree in Adult Learning and Leadership from Teachers College with a focus on radical learning. Gerald also has a bachelor’s degree in Foreign Languages (Spanish and French) from Eastern Illinois University.
