Choose your Class
This course is a prerequisite for admission to the Labor Arbitrator Development Program (LADP).
This hybrid program includes both in-person and online components.
The mandatory in-person sessions will take place on January 21–23, 2026 and April 20–22, 2026.
The total cost of the program is $5,000.
Participants will explore key topic areas such as contract language interpretation, just cause, ethics, evidence, conducting a hearing, and award writing. Learning activities are designed to be highly interactive and include scenario-based assignments and discussions led by experienced arbitrators, drafting a mock award with individualized feedback, and conducting mock arbitration hearings.
The final session will focus on strategies for running efficient and effective arbitration hearings, helping participants apply their skills in real-world setting
Prerequisite:
- Experience in the field of labor relations
- Or have taken labor law, contract interpretation and agreement writing for labor relation classes
- Or completed the labor arbitration advocacy or the negotiating a collective bargaining agreement certificate programs
